Our Mission

Friends of FUSE is dedicated to sustaining and advancing the educational and artistic missions of FUSE Productions and Singing Onstage, two related Centre County-based theatre companies. FUSE Productions brings together community actors; Pennsylvania State University alumni, students, and faculty; and professional actors from across the nation to create exciting professional theatre in Central Pennsylvania. Singing Onstage is a musical theatre training program where children learn to sing, act, dance, and perform in a joyful and judgment-free atmosphere and it is an educational arm of FUSE Productions. Together, the two theatre organizations engage participants from ages 3 to 93.

The Board of Directors of Friends of FUSE believes in the power of live theatre to inform, inspire, and promote critical dialogue. By promoting and supporting plays, musicals, and play readings as well as actor talkbacks, workshops, and panel discussions, Friends of FUSE provides a platform upon which people onstage, backstage, and offstage can learn and grow.

Friends of FUSE is a 501(c)(3) organization founded in 2015. It is volunteer-run organization that raises charitable contributions through individuals, foundations and organizations to support educational activities and the theatre production expenses of FUSE Productions and Singing Onstage.
